Showcase Gig
On a snowy night in Toronto
we played a showcase gig
with seven other bands.
It was a hectic night! With a snowstorm all day, it let up in time for everyone to get down to the bar for 7pm for load in of our gear (along with 6 other bands' worth as well!). The first band got a 2 song sound check and the rest of us had to sort it out on the fly. We had about 10 minutes to get the first band's gear off the stage and then get our stuff set-up, with drums taking the most time. That left us 30 minutes to rip through our set. Thanks to the friends and family who made it out in the weather and the new fans cheering us on.
